Challenge
When New York City-based curator Rosemary Gabriel was looking for a design firm to work with her on Folk Art magazine, she felt she needed a local firm. But when her favorite art director moved to D.C. to join The Magazine Group, she decided to try us for a few issues.
Results
"Everything went so smoothly—the typesetting, the proofreading, the production," says Gabriel. "And the design was absolutely beautiful. I thought, why would I look for anyone else to do the job?
"Before I worked with The Magazine Group, I always expected galleys to go through at least two or three rounds. Usually there were problems with typesetting or proofreading. But with The Magazine Group, it is much easier. The entire process with them is just so much better."
"Originally, I was going to use a local New York City-based design firm. But then I discovered that distance does not make a difference when you work with The Magazine Group. They pay attention to the smallest details and get them right the first time."
