Envisioned as a resource for timely, accurate and engaging information, Lupus Now responds to a growing public need for education and awareness about lupus.
Approach
The Lupus Foundation of America asked The Magazine Group to expand its publication from a newsletter to an almost 100,000 circulation magazine.
Lupus Now targets lupus patients and their families, healthcare providers and researchers. The consumer section is devoted to practical information on living a healthy life, covering a full range of lifestyle and wellness topics. A section for healthcare professionals addresses the latest treatments and therapies, as well as news on scientific meetings.
Results
Response to the magazine exceeded expectations. The foundation has received hundreds of letters from appreciative readers, and financial support for the overall organization has grown dramatically.
