Challenge
To increase awareness of real estate investment trusts with a high-end, consumer-quality magazine that faithfully represents the industry; to encourage investment in publicly traded real estate; to operate the magazine with a better bottom line.
Approach
The Magazine Group worked with the NAREIT communications team to reconfigure its editorial mix, turn a stale quarterly journal into a dynamic bi-monthly, launch a magazine website within the parameters of NAREIT's own site and manage advertising sales.
Results
The Magazine Group helped NAREIT double its ad revenue and move the magazine from fifth to first place in its field.
