EDUCAUSE Review Magazine

"The reaction to the redesign of our magazine has been phenomenal. An EDUCAUSE board member asked for 300 copies of the first issue—immediately—to distribute on her campus."

EDUCAUSE Review Spread

Challenge
When EDUCASE decided to change its flagship publication, EDUCAUSE Review, the organization wanted to work with a firm that had excellent art and graphic capabilities but could also offer strong production, quality control and experienced personnel. Of six firms consulted, The Magazine Group was selected.

Approach
"EDUCAUSE Review is targeted to key decision-makers in higher education—busy people with high expectations. The Magazine Group redesigned our magazine to strike the perfect chord with this dynamic group," says Teddy Diggs, editor and publisher.

Results
"We expected a wrestling match," says Katz, "but what we got was a love-in. The Magazine Group has a terrific staff: professional, responsive and creative. The work flowed smoothly. They developed schedules and held themselves—and us—to them. And the result was terrific."

The Magazine Group as designs a second major EDUCAUSE publication, EDUCAUSE Quarterly, and manages the ongoing design and production of both magazines.
